Casco: debe ser rígido en el exterior y acolchado en el interior para proteger la cabeza del jinete de golpes o caídas. Su uso es obligatorio y sirve para identificar al jugador. Algunos cascos pueden incluir un protector facial.

Botas de montar: por lo general son de cuero marrones y cuentan con un pequeño taco que brinda al jinete el agarre necesario para que sus pies queden bien sujetos a los estribos. No deben tener espuelas, tachas o hebillas que puedan lastimar a otro jugador o al caballo.

Rodilleras: se utilizan para proteger las piernas del jugador de posibles tacazos, bochazos o caídas.

Guantes: protegen las manos del jinete y mejoran el agarre.

Pantalón: el reglamentario es siempre de color blanco.

Camiseta: por lo general es una camiseta tipo polo o chomba, con cuello y dos o tres botones. Suele tener en la espalda el número que identifica al jugador y los colores del club al que representa.

Anteojos protectores: brindan seguridad y protección frente a posibles impactos o golpes.

Taco: mide alrededor de 1,30 metros, es flexible, y se usa siempre en la mano derecha. Incluso los jugadores zurdos deben cumplir con esta regla.

Bocha / Pelota: debe pesar entre 120 y 130 gramos y medir de 76 a89 mm de diámetro. Puede ser de madera o plástico blanco.

Fusta: flexible y liviana, se utiliza para dirigir y controlar al caballo.

Estribos: se fijan a la silla de montar y permiten al jinete introducir los pies brindando seguridad y estabilidad.

Protective eyewear: they provide security and protection from potential impacts or blows.

Polo mallet: measures about 1.3 metres. It is flexible and always used in the right hand. Even left handed players must comply with this rule.

Polo ball: this must weigh between 120-130 grammes and measure 76-89 mm in diameter. It can be made from madera wood or white plastic.

Riding whip: flexible and lightweight, used to direct and control the horse.

Stirrips: they are attached to the saddle and allow the rider to put their foot through giving security and stablility.
